- General description:
- An around 300 year old house with somewhat wonky, white stone walls. The floor isn’t always completely straight. Decorated with old and new furniture, some art and antiquities. The house is not air conditioned, but there are electric fans in all bedrooms.
- Location:
- In an old building about three minutes’ walk from the main square.
- Garden:
- Includes heated pool, jacuzzi and jet stream.
- Garage/parking:
- Garage is so far out of use due to very steep and narrow driveway. There are parking facilities a few metres’ walk from the house.
- Kitchen:
- Modern and well-equipped with oven and separate hob with gas and electricity. Electric kettle and espresso-maker, toaster, dishwasher, fridge and stereo. ADSL broadband connection can be used freely. Old fashioned, long dining table and rounded fireplace. Guidebooks and maps in the desk drawer. Petanque balls on the shelf in the hallway.
- Bathrooms:
- Three, all include shower, wash basin and WC. The largest one also has a bath tub, a washing machine, tumble drier, electric towel rail and hair dryer. There are plenty of sheets, bedding and towels.
- Bedrooms:
- Three and a half with room for 7-8 people. An extra bed is provided.
- Lower glass terrace:
- Equipped with satellite TV, DVD player and stereo, as well as a large fridge freezer.
- Allergies:
- If you’re allergic to dogs, please note that our German Shepherd always accompanies us to France. Despite thorough cleaning you may therefore come across the odd dog hair.
- Pool security:
- This is now mandatory under French law, and we have therefore installed an approved electronic alarm which sounds if a child falls into the water. All tenants must acknowledge in the contract that they understand that the alarm must be activated and that this is their responsibility.
- Emergency telephone numbers:
- All tenants will get a list of local doctors, dentists, pharmacies, etc, as well as a more comprehensive ”guide” to our house.
- General:
- We try to keep the house reasonably well equipped with enough household detergents, toilet paper, etc, to last throughout your rental period. The kitchen also includes various non-perishables, such as sugar, herbs and spices, salt, coffee and tea. Feel free to use this, and to leave behind whatever you can spare. However, you are of course also free to put our things aside and buy your own.
